| Gene Description | PTPN12, protein tyrosine phosphatase non-receptor type 12, dephosphorylates tyrosine residues on target substrates (PMID: 30959160), playing a role in multiple cellular functions including cell migration and adhesion (PMID: 24284071, PMID: 23897807, PMID: 10085298, PMID: 23105101) and T-cell regulation (PMID: 20727793, PMID: 24366546). PTPN12 mutations have been identified in colorectal cancer (PMID: 30731403) and decreased expression of Ptpn12 has been observed in several tumor types including clear cell renal cell carcinoma (PMID: 33292053), nasopharyngeal carcinoma (PMID: 25663493), and non-small cell lung cancer (PMID: 25868976) while increased expression has been observed in prostate cancer (PMID: 31606028). | ||||||||||||

Downloadable data from CKB is available using the FLEX version. CKB FLEX delivers CKB content as a
flat file or JSON, enabling CKB data integration.
