| Gene Description | PTPRC, protein tyrosine phosphatase receptor type C, is a transmembrane protein tyrosine phosphatase essential for T-cell and B-cell antigen receptor-mediated activation and hematopoietic stem cell differentiation and proliferation (PMID: 34039664), and plays a role in endothelial-to-mesenchymal transition (PMID: 36924233). Inactivating mutations in PTPRC have been identified in T-cell acute lymphoblastic leukemia (PMID: 22438252). | ||||||||||||
