| Gene Description | PTPRR, protein tyrosine phosphatase receptor type R, is a member of the protein tyrosine phosphatases family and may negatively regulate MAPK/ERK1/2 pathway signaling (PMID: 31024255). An ETV6-PTPRR fusion has been identified in acute myelogenous leukemia (PMID: 16061641) and overexpression of Ptprr has been associated with poor prognosis in prostate cancer (PMID: 32133801), while Ptprr has been shown to have decreased expression in other tumor types, including colorectal carcinoma, cervical cancer, oral squamous cell carcinoma (PMID: 32133801), and ovarian cancer (PMID: 31653698). | ||||||||||
