| Gene Description | RAG2, recombination activating 2, is a structure and sequence-specific nuclease involved in V(D)J recombination and plays a role in establishing antigen receptor diversity (PMID: 34644584, PMID: 25327637) and in T- and B-cell development (PMID: 37497222), initiating DNA repair (PMID: 15084256), and maintenance of genome stability (PMID: 21368836). Increased expression of RAG2 has been observed in acute lymphoblastic leukemia and lymphoid blast crisis chronic myeloid leukemia (PMID: 27198500). | ||||||||||||
