| Gene Description | RASGRF1, Ras protein specific guanine nucleotide releasing factor 1, is a guanine exchange factor that mediates activation of Ras and Rho family proteins by promoting GDP and GTP exchange, and plays a role in cellular proliferation, neuronal differentiation, and synaptic plasticity (PMID: 21111786). A RASGRF1 fusion with TMEM87A has been identified in non-small cell lung carcinoma (PMID: 32312893), overexpression of RASGRF1 has been identified in alveolar rhabdomyosarcoma (PMID: 22752028), and aberrant methylation of RASGRF1 has been reported in colorectal (PMID: 29530990) and gastric cancer (PMID: 22961779). | ||||||||||
