Gene Description RECQL, RecQ like helicase, is a DNA helicase with DNA unwinding, annealing, and branch migration activity (PMID: 15899892, PMID: 25831490) and plays a role in DNA damage response, chromosomal stability (PMID: 18074021, PMID: 23650516), and DNA repair (PMID: 23650516). Overexpression of Recql has been identified in a variety of cancers (PMID: 32517021), including glioblastoma (PMID: 21752281) and multiple myeloma (PMID: 28186131).
