Gene Description TRIM27, tripartite motif containing 27, is a member of the tripartite motif (TRIM) protein family (PMID: 29767249) and an E3 ubiquitin-protein ligase (PMID: 23419514) that regulates transcriptional repression, apoptosis, and the cell-cycle (PMID: 22829933). Fusions of TRIM27 with RET have been identified in salivary gland intraductal carcinoma (PMID: 30045065, PMID: 30610524) and papillary thyroid carcinoma (PMID: 12787916).
