| Gene Description | ACTB, actin beta, encodes a cytoskeletal protein that plays a role in regulating cellular pools of globular actin (PMID: 21900491), gene expression (PMID: 20053683), chromatin remodeling (PMID: 30557298, PMID: 22573825), and cell growth and migration (PMID: 21900491). Increased ACTB expression has been identified in gastric cancer (PMID: 23635433), and a fusion with FOSB has been observed in pseudomyogenic hemangioendothelioma (PMID: 30459475), and with GLI1 in pericytomas (PMID: 15111311, PMID: 15555571). | ||||||||||
