| Gene Description | RPE65, retinoid isomerohydrolase RPE65, encodes an enzyme that plays a role in the isomerization of retinol in the rod and cone visual cycle, and is necessary in order to maintain normal vision (PMID: 15825812, PMID: 16116091, PMID: 30002120).
