| Gene Description | RPL22, ribosomal protein L22, is part of the 60S ribosomal subunit, and plays a role in regulating the expression of RPL22L1 (PMID: 23990801), T and B lymphocyte development (PMID: 17555992, PMID: 25416806), and pre-mRNA splicing during morphogenesis (PMID: 28076796). Frameshift mutations in RPL22 have been identified in microsatellite unstable endometrial cancer and colorectal cancer (PMID: 25196364, PMID: 23127973), deletion of RPL22 has been identified in T-cell acute lymphoblastic lymphoma (PMID: 22976955), and decreased expression has been identified in non-small cell lung cancer (PMID: 23797773). | ||||||||||
