| Gene Description | TRA2B, transformer 2 beta homolog, is a member of the SR-like protein family of splicing factors that regulates alternative splicing of multiple genes (PMID: 9790768) and plays a role in regulating lipogenesis (PMID: 21803291) and embryonic and neuronal development (PMID: 20190275, PMID: 22194695). TRA2B fusions have been identified in cholangiocarcinoma (PMID: 37541273, PMID: 38437671) and lung squamous cell carcinoma (PMID: 27670699), and increased Tra2b expression has been identified in several tumor types (PMID: 23935626), including non-small cell lung cancer (PMID: 24952301), glioma (PMID: 30367895), and osteosarcoma (PMID: 32682951). | ||||||||||
