| Gene Description | SP3, Sp3 transcription factor, is one of 25 members of the Specificity Protein/Kruppel-like Factor (SP/KLF) family of transcription factors and plays a role in regulation of cell division and differentiation (PMID: 20810260, PMID: 26967243). Overexpression of Sp3 has been demonstrated in rhabdomyosarcoma, hepatocellular carcinoma (PMID: 26352013, PMID: 22815231), and has been associated with decreased survival in head and neck cancer (PMID: 29545399), and an EWSR1-SP3 fusion has been identified in small round cell sarcoma (PMID: 17690209). | ||||||||||
