| Gene Description | SPI1, Spi-1 proto-oncogene, is a member of the ETS family of transcription factors that functions in regulation of hematopoiesis (PMID: 20520638, PMID: 17374502, PMID: 7819272), and plays a role in tissue fibrosis (PMID: 30700907). SPI1 fusions have been identified in T-cell acute lymphoblastic leukemia (PMID: 34230493, PMID: 28671687), mutations have been observed in Waldenstrom macroglobulinemia and acute myeloid leukemia (PMID: 31018969), and increased expression has been demonstrated in melanoma (PMID: 37539493). | ||||||||||
