| Gene Description | STK3, serine/threonine kinase 3, is a member of the mammalian sterile twenty (MST) kinase family (PMID: 30882881) and is activated by caspases to promote DNA fragmentation during apoptosis (PMID: 29876001) and may play a role in the innate immune response (PMID: 28757478). Stk3 functions as a putative tumor suppressor within the Hippo pathway through YAP1 to regulate cell proliferation (PMID: 15994916, PMID: 24336504, PMID: 29876001), and may also promote tumorigenesis in other tumor types (PMID: 29876001). | ||||||||||||
