Gene Description HNF1A, HNF1 homeobox A, is a transcription factor that demonstrates tumor suppressor activity and plays a role in hepatocyte differentiation and glucose transport (PMID: 25233928, PMID: 26855178, PMID: 25076298). HNF1A inactivating mutations are associated with hepatic adenomas (PMID: 25076298) and may be associated with pancreatic tumorigenesis (PMID: 32154941).
