| Gene Description | TNFAIP3, TNF alpha induced protein 3, encodes an anti-inflammatory protein, acting as a ubiquitin-modifying enzyme, which plays a role in the regulation of multiple signaling pathways including NF-kappaB, Wnt, and interferon regulatory factor (IRF) (PMID: 24246475). Loss of function mutations in TNFAIP3 have been identified in multiple types of lymphoma (PMID: 23134590, PMID: 32012328) and hypomethylation of TNFAIP3 results in overexpression in advanced gastric cancer (PMID: 32285140). | ||||||||||||
