| Gene Description | TRAF1, TNF receptor associated factor 1, is an adaptor protein, which forms a complex with TRAF2 to mediate NF-kappaB and JNK activation, regulate inflammatory pathways, and suppress apoptosis (PMID: 11875461, PMID: 30619326, PMID: 30778351). TRAF1 mutations have been identified in a variety of cancers (PMID: 30294322), TRAF1 overexpression has been observed in lymphoid (PMID: 11046039, PMID: 12411322), lung (PMID: 29748372), and skin cancers (PMID: 28131816), and a TRAF-ALK fusion has been associated with anaplastic large cell lymphoma (PMID: 23999969, PMID: 25533804, PMID: 26187744). | ||||||||||
