| Gene Description | TRAF5, TNF receptor associated factor 5, encodes an adaptor protein that binds to multiple members of the TNFR superfamily (PMID: 22017431), including CD40 (PMID: 8790348) and the lymphotoxin-beta receptor (PMID: 8663299), and activates downstream NF-kappaB pathway signaling (PMID: 10623461, PMID: 30778351), and plays a role in immune cell regulation (PMID: 22017431, PMID: 24681564). Mutations in TRAF5 have been identified in diffuse large B-cell lymphoma (PMID: 19412164), and increased expression of TRAF5 has been observed in T-cell acute lymphoblastic leukemia (PMID: 31722554). | ||||||||||
