| Gene Description | TRAF6, TNF receptor associated factor 6, encodes a signaling molecule of the IL-1R/TLR family and TNFR superfamily (PMID: 15555541), that plays a role in the innate immune response by activating the NF-kappaB pathway (PMID: 19479062, PMID: 8837778), osteoclast skeletal organization (PMID: 12185073), regulation of JNK signaling (PMID: 18922473), and development and maturation of dendritic cells (PMID: 14499111). Increased TRAF6 expression has been observed in colon cancer (PMID: 24755241) and esophageal carcinoma (PMID: 27697099). | ||||||||||
