Gene Description NSD2, nuclear receptor binding SET domain protein 2, is a histone methyltransferase (PMID: 28193767) that regulates gene transcription via chromatin remodeling (PMID: 18172012, PMID: 25188243, PMID: 27604143) and enhances DNA double-strand breaks repair (PMID: 31217297). NSD2 overexpression has been reported in myeloma (PMID: 18172012) and in several solid tumor types (PMID: 25188243, PMID: 27604143), including clear cell renal cell carcinoma (PMID: 32021450), and altered expression has been reported in advanced prostate cancer (PMID: 32091270, PMID: 30518758).
