| Gene Description | YY1, YY1 transcription factor, is a zinc-finger transcription factor that regulates expression of genes involved in biological processes including cell growth, proliferation, and differentiation (PMID: 16611997, PMID: 20081375). Dysregulation of YY1 is associated with several tumor types including, nasopharyngeal carcinoma (PMID: 30718276), YY1 mutations are recurrent in insulinoma (PMID: 20081375, PMID: 25787250) and an EWSR1-YY1 fusion has been identified in mesothelioma (PMID: 23630070). | ||||||||||
