Gene Description YWHAE, tyrosine 3-monooxygenase/tryptophan 5-monooxygenase activation protein epsilon, is a member of the 14-3-3 family signaling proteins that is involved in signaling pathways regulating diverse cellular functions (PMID: 15364926, PMID: 17728103, PMID: 23472066). YWHAE rearrangement has been identified in endometrial stromal sarcoma (PMID: 25355621), clear cell sarcoma of the kidney (PMID: 26493387), and round cell sarcoma (PMID: 26945340).
