| Gene Description | DDR1, discoidin domain receptor tyrosine kinase 1, encodes for a tyrosine kinase receptor that is activated by collagen and plays a necessary role in the development of mammary glands (PMID: 24671415). DDR1 overexpression and DDR1 mutations have been associated with a variety of cancers including lung (PMID: 31659178), melanoma (PMID: 31271515), ER-positive breast cancer (PMID: 30181556), and metastatic colon cancer (PMID: 32117772). | ||||||||||
