| Gene Description | PTP4A1, protein tyrosine phosphatase IV A1, is a member of the PRL protein tyrosine phosphatase family that regulates cellular proliferation and migration, and promotes invasion and metastasis in cancer cells (PMID: 25003523, PMID: 17656357, PMID: 16540666, PMID: 12782572). PTP4A1 amplification and overexpression has been observed in hepatocellular carcinoma (PMID: 25003523), and a PTP4A1-ROS1 fusion has been identified in non-small cell lung cancer (PMID: 30978502). | ||||||||||
