| Gene Description | BRPF1, bromodomain and PHD finger containing 1, is a component of the MOZ/MORF histone acetyltransferase complex involved in histone acetylation and transcriptional regulation (PMID: 18794358, PMID: 41053095), and plays a role in cell proliferation, embryogenesis (PMID: 25773539), and hematopoiesis (PMID: 27500495). Mutations in BRPF1 have been identified in SHH medulloblastoma (PMID: 24651015, PMID: 31851932) and pediatric acute lymphoblastic leukemia (PMID: 24710217) and increased expression of BRPF1 has been identified in hepatocellular carcinoma (PMID: 34285329) and ovarian cancer (PMID: 40038391). | ||||||||||||
