Gene Description CDC73, cell division cycle 73, also know as parafibromin, encodes a tumor suppressor that is involved in transcriptional and post-transcriptional control pathways. Mutations and loss of expression of Cdc73 have been associated with parathyroid carcinoma (PMID: 22987117, PMID: 28352668, PMID: 30567092) and aberrant expression has been observed in gastric, lung, breast, and ovarian cancers (PMID: 29221126).
