Gene Description

TBL1XR1, TBL1X receptor 1, is an F-box-like protein which acts as a co-repressor of nuclear hormone transcription factors influencing gene expression (PMID: 16893456) and may play a role in regulating the Wnt signaling pathway (PMID: 28588275). Overexpression of Tbxlr1 has been observed in a variety of cancer types (PMID: 24667177, PMID: 22837180), including non-small cell lung cancer (PMID: 31243347), osteosarcoma (PMID: 30529193), cervical cancer (PMID: 30439646), colorectal cancer (PMID: 28295012), and gastric cancer (PMID: 27672238), and Tbl1xr1 mutations may impair plasma cell differentiation (PMID: 32619424).
