| Gene Description | NEK11, NIMA-related kinase 11, is a member of the NEK protein kinase family that negatively regulates CDC25A (PMID: 19734889, PMID: 20090422), and plays a putative role in cell cycle regulation in response to DNA damage (PMID: 23132929). Decreased Nek11 expression has been observed in ovarian cancer (PMID: 24969318) and NEK11 mutations have been associated with increased susceptibility to melanoma (PMID: 31704778). | ||||||||||
