| Gene Description | COQ8B, coenzyme Q8B, is a membrane protein belonging to the protein kinase super family that is expressed in podocytes, localizing to the mitochondria, and is involved in coenzyme Q10 biosynthesis, including interacting with COQ6 (PMID: 24270420, PMID: 28298181, PMID: 30395845). The COQ8B-NUMBL fusion has been identified in cutaneous squamous cell carcinoma, melanoma, and basal cell carcinoma (PMID: 30395845). | ||||||||||
