| Gene Description | STN1, STN1 subunit of CST complex, is a component of the CST complex that binds to single-strand DNA to promote telomeric DNA replication (PMID: 22964711, PMID: 22863775), thereby protecting telomere ends and playing a role in telomere integrity (PMID: 25684230, PMID: 19854130, PMID: 17715303), and may be involved in genomic stability through double-strand DNA break repair (PMID: 33780718). Decreased expression of Stn1 has been observed in colorectal cancer (PMID: 37163605). | ||||||||||||
