Gene Description SHOC2, leucine-rich repeat protein SHOC-2, is a scaffold protein that forms a complex with protein phosphatase 1 (PP1c) to activate Raf1 kinase and subsequent ERK1/2 signaling (PMID: 27574535, PMID: 26876614). Preclinical studies have implicated Shoc2 in tumorgenesis through accelerated activation of ERK1/2 kinase (PMID: 27574535).
