| Gene Description | NCOA3, nuclear receptor coactivator 3, is also known as amplified in breast cancer 1 (PMID: 30103827) and is a steroid-receptor coactivator family member that functions as a nuclear receptor coactivator and as a transcriptional coactivator (PMID: 21647249). Overexpression of NCOA3 has been associated with poor prognosis in several tumor types, including pancreatic cancer (PMID: 21647249, PMID: 27267632), urothelial carcinoma (PMID: 31045512), and lung (PMID: 30103827), and an ESR1-NCOA3 fusion has been observed in a uterine tumor resembling ovarian sex-cord tumor (PMID: 30273195). | ||||||||||
