| Gene Description | HMCN1, hemicentin 1, is an immunoglobulin family member that is a component of the extracellular matrix and is proposed to have roles in cell adhesion, migration, and invasion (PMID: 25338956, PMID: 17031392). Overexpression of HMCN1 has been correlated with decreased survival in ovarian carcinoma (PMID: 31638245) and mutations may be associated with cell invasion and metastasis in breast cancer (PMID: 30279964). | ||||||||||
