Gene Description ARID5B, AT-rich interaction domain 5B, encodes a member of the ARID DNA-binding protein family, which plays a role in gene transcription by forming a complex with Phf2 to facilitate the demethylation of H3K9me2 (PMID: 21890642, PMID: 11959810, PMID: 21532585). ARID5B germline variants are associated with acute lymphoblastic leukemia (PMID: 25310577, PMID: 24564228), and reduced expression has been identified in B-cell and T-cell acute lymphoblastic leukemia (PMID: 30420689).
