Gene Description CUL3, cullin 3, acts as a scaffold in Cullin-RING E3 ubiquitin ligase complexes, and is involved in cell differentiation and vesicle trafficking (PMID: 29249570). Loss of CUL3 has been identified in esophageal squamous cell carcinoma (PMID: 28860350), and overexpression has been demonstrated in breast cancer (PMID: 22825334).
