| Gene Description | COPS3, COP9 signalosome subunit 3, encodes a component of the COP9 signalosome (CSN) protein complex (PMID: 14570571, PMID: 19849719), which binds to IKKgamma and negatively regulates NF-kappaB activation (PMID: 11418127), interacts with MLF1 to regulate TP53 stability and cell growth (PMID: 15861129), and plays a role in early embryonic development (PMID: 12972600). COPS3 amplification and overexpression has been identified in osteosarcoma (PMID: 17366602, PMID: 12917637). | ||||||||||||
