Gene Description SSH2, slingshot protein phosphatase 2, is a member of a family of phosphatases that regulates actin cytoskeleton organization, cell polarity, and motility through the dephosphorylation of Cofilin (PMID: 33964330, PMID: 14531860, PMID: 17848544). An ALK-SSH2 fusion has been identified in lung adenocarcinoma (PMID: 35144623).
