| Gene Description | NOL4, nucleolar protein 4, is a protein localized to the nucleolus (PMID: 9813152) that has a potential role in osteoclast differentiation (PMID: 34868271). NOL4 hypermethylation has been observed in papillary thyroid cancer (PMID: 33613681), head and neck squamous cell carcinoma (PMID: 24337411) and cervical cancer (PMID: 18381458), specific expression has been demonstrated in small cell lung cancer (PMID: 34065612), and a fusion with FGFR2 has been identified in cholangiocarcinoma (PMID: 25536104). | ||||||||||
