| Gene Description | SOCS2, suppressor of cytokine signaling 2, is a substrate-binding component of the E3 ubiquitin ligase complex (PMID: 26709655) that negatively regulates cytokine signaling, including GHR signaling (PMID: 11553846, PMID: 11401434, PMID: 21980433), negatively regulates FLT3 signaling (PMID: 23548639), and plays a role in regulation of iTreg stability (PMID: 23455506) and Th2 cell differentiation (PMID: 21646394, PMID: 26709655). Decreased expression of Socs2 has been observed in hepatoblastoma (PMID: 38071211) and hepatocellular carcinoma (PMID: 27465557), and increased expression has been observed in acute myeloid leukemia (PMID: 23548639), chronic myeloid leukemia (PMID: 11861294), and prostate cancer (PMID: 24280133). | ||||||||||||
