| Gene Description | WASF1, WASP family member 1, is part of the WAVE complex that regulates actin dynamic and membrane protrusion, thus contributing to cell migration (PMID: 25145849). Loss of WASF1 has been identified in prostate cancer (PMID: 25906751), overexpression of Wasf1 was observed in acute myeloblastic leukemia (PMID: 21281239), and a WASF1-BRAF fusion has been identified in advanced solid tumors (PMID: 29320312). | ||||||||||||
