Gene Description RPS6KA4, ribosomal protein S6 kinase A4, is also known as MSK2 and is a mitogen and stress-activated kinase that phosphorylates several targets including CREB, ATF1, and H3, and plays a role in immunity (PMID: 18508628, PMID: 27376065). Overexpression of Rps6ka4 has been observed in squamous cell cervical cancer (PMID: 30756420).
