| Gene Description | SPAG9, sperm associated antigen 9, is a cancer testis antigen, that is rarely expressed in other tissues (PMID: 31497238), and is a scaffold protein that mediates JNK signaling (PMID: 30720101) and induces an immune response (PMID: 29864900). SPAG9-JAK2 has been identified in B-cell precursor acute lymphoblastic leukemia (PMID: 25951811), and Spag9 overexpression is associated with invasion, cell motility and poor prognosis in diverse solid tumor types (PMID: 25310386, PMID: 24801907, PMID: 18922895), including liver cancer (PMID: 30720101), colorectal cancer (PMID: 29480665), and prostate cancer (PMID: 31966820). | ||||||||||
