Gene Description CD1a, CD1a molecule, is a member of the CD1 family of transmembrane glycoproteins that play a role in lipid antigen presentation to T-cells involved in mediation of the adaptive immune response (PMID: 11231314, PMID: 28386696). Reduced infiltration of CD1A-expressing dendritic cells has been reported in breast cancer (PMID: 11870535), and decreased CD1A expression has been observed in relapsed/refractory T-cell acute lymphoblastic leukemia (PMID: 33002130).
