| Gene Description | USP6, ubiquitin specific peptidase 6, is a deubiquitinase that regulates the stability of signaling proteins (PMID: 40348771) including Wnt (PMID: 27162353) and NF-kappaB (PMID: 22081069), and plays a role in protein trafficking (PMID: 25179595), actin remodeling (PMID: 12612085), cytokinesis, migration, and proliferation (PMID: 22188517). A THBS2-USP6 fusion has been identified in low-grade myofibroblastic sarcoma (PMID: 38651320) and recurrent USP6 fusions have been identified in various soft tissue neoplasms (PMID: 32635781). | ||||||||||||
