| Gene Description | IL1RL1, interleukin 1 receptor like 1, encodes a member of the interleukin-1 receptor family also referred to as ST2, which acts as a receptor for IL-33 and plays a role in regulation of inflammatory immune response (PMID: 31136737, PMID: 28484466, PMID: 15110792). Increased ST2 expression has been demonstrated in colorectal cancer (PMID: 32246094) and Merkel cell carcinoma (PMID: 35409061), and increased levels of soluble ST2 have been identified in breast cancer (PMID: 24636276). | ||||||||||
