Gene Description AURKB, aurora B kinase, is a serine-threonine protein kinase, which plays a role in the separation of daughter chromatids during cell division and functions in regulation of genomic stability (PMID: 28095398). Overexpression of Aurkb has been associated with poor prognosis in solid tumors, such as non-small cell lung cancer (PMID: 28095398), and in leukemia (PMID: 22940834, PMID: 26199132).
