| Gene Description | NUMBL, NUMB like, endocytic adaptor protein, is a homologue of Numb that is involved in various cellular processes including adhesion and ubiquitination, through regulation of Notch, Wnt, and Hedgehog signaling (PMID: 29507685, PMID: 27613838, PMID: 29507685). Downregulation of Numbl expression contributes to tumorigenicity and chemoresistance in tumor cells (PMID: 27613838, PMID: 31888545) and a fusion with ADCK4 has been observed in cutaneous squamous cell carcinoma (PMID: 30395845). | ||||||||||
