Gene Description MAPKAPK2, MAPK activated protein kinase 2, is a substrate of the p38/MAPK pathway and plays a role in the inflammatory response, and in regulation of cell cycle, cell migration, and transcript stability (PMID: 31023373, PMID: 30850014, PMID: 15629715, PMID: 10559880). Overexpression of Mapkapk2 has been demonstrated in head and neck squamous cell carcinoma (PMID: 31023373).
