Gene Description FXR2, FMR1 autosomal homolog 2, is an RNA-binding protein that belongs to the Fragile X-related protein family and plays a role in neurogenesis (PMID: 36991279, PMID: 36187492, PMID: 26051932, PMID: 21658585). Co-deletion of FXR2 and TP53 has been demonstrated in several tumor types (PMID: 28767039), and a TP53-FXR2 fusion has been identified in Wilms tumor (PMID: 30894247).
