| Gene Description | BCLAF1, BCL2 associated transcription factor 1, is involved in regulation of gene transcription (PMID: 10330179, PMID: 31870774), and mRNA splicing (PMID: 29112714, PMID: 24746700) and plays a role in several cellular functions (PMID: 34992690) including apoptosis (PMID: 10330179, PMID: 22833098), DNA repair (PMID: 22833098), lung development, and maintenance of T and B-cell homeostasis (PMID: 19008920). BCLAF1 mutations have been identified in melanoma (PMID: 35803911) and overexpression of BCLAF1 has been identified in hepatocellular carcinoma (PMID: 31870774) and esophageal squamous cell carcinoma (PMID: 38636894). | ||||||||||
